I see there is a new Welsh Independance Blog just as good as the last, the problem though is that this blog appears to very much representing a rather none too organised or thought out 'Tendency' in Plaid Cymru.

8 Sep 2011 – A CHALLENGER to lead Plaid Cymru yesterday dismissed the concept ofWelsh independence as a 'mirage'.If 'Independance' is to be advanced within Plaid Cymru then it needs to organise the 'Tendancy' at a more grass roots level and not least behind Elin Jones in the Plaid Presidential race for simple reason she does support Independance. Even though like all Plaidwyr in favour of such, the mantra is 'Independance in Europe', a most contradictory concept of course which most Plaidwyr cannot grasp not even serious Plaid Cymru 'Politicos'.

They have carried out a professional survey and ...Most Plaid Cymru members are 'Cultural Nationalists', the rest 'Suits' as in the Labour Party they represent the Plaid Political' but none too 'Nationalist' new generation membership. Then there's real Dogs Dinner of 'Trendy Left' and Pacifists. Then there are Patriotic Fringe 'Knee Jerk' Nationalists of the Rali Cilmeri Camp Following 'Crach Fodder' kind who cannot make up minds to stay in or, leave Plaid Cymru. However, as for 'Republicans' I consider it more likly that what may be described as an 'Hard Core' Welsh Republicanism is outside Plaid Cymru and represented by a veriaty of strains from the rediculous Balchder Cymru school of 'Republicanisms' or whatever grabs them at a particular time to the 'Plaid Cymru/Radical Wales' Left Republicanism to the more on the right path 'Welsh Repblicanism' of My Little Republic blog:

Republican Day 07/06/11 ...Whatever, none of it is going very far neither the'Independantists' nor the 'Republicans' and so whither Freedom's Cause? If I was still interested in Welsh Nationalism and I am not strictly speaking as I am fast moving totally left, even though there I disagree with much. I would consider the 'My Little Republic' path favourably in the long term. However, if it's more for the Radical National Action in mind then possibly Balchder Cymru may yet shape up and deliver? Afterall Adam is a Patriot and not a complete sloth or patriotically lazy as far as being patriotically active when it suits him to be. Other 'Balchderiaid' as Russell makes a good propagandists and Paul a good steady hand on the tiller. However, what they lack is good Political Thinking and Direction, Sadly neither John Jenkins wants to full fill these roles in a MAC III, so BC is in a kind of limbo or could that be doldrums with theemphasis on the 'Drums'.
